Would You Care? *edited*

by Christine   Feb 10, 2006

Doors slamming
Glass breaking
People screaming all around
Can't you see it's killing me inside?

I silently watch you
As you tear my life apart;
Asking me what you should do.
You want my opinion?
F**k you, you're all wrong

It doesn't matter who did what,
When it happened, or why.
Families care and forgive;
Yet you don't even try.
The fight gets worse,
And things start to fly.
I can't stand watching you,
So I sit and close my eyes.

Why do I even bother?
You don't care about all the painful words
That attack like daggers to the heart.
I've tried to find a solution,
But I don't know where to start.

Would you care if I cut myself to pieces?
With my only friend the razor blade
He wants me to slice ever deeper,
And promises blissful peace as a trade.
I'm so tempted to agree,
But then what would you think of me?

Open up your eyes;
See how badly I want to flee.
Would you stop for me?
Or would you just sit idly by
And watch me as I slowly die
