Heart-Shaped Box

by BrokenMisery   Feb 6, 2006

Black Devil tears fall dew on the morning's grass,
Giving re-growth to the misery that gave last night's scars.
And hear the wind whisper the song of the free,
Whilst chained to your world filled with debris.

And your heart will never be whole once more,
So take your pieces that are lying on the floor.
You've lost your reason, your will to fight,
The Devil has taken your soul tonight.

Lying in the shadows of the ice and fire,
Burning the broken in their last desire.
You're Sleeping Beauty without her prince,
Trapped, you're nothing beautiful ever since.

And your heart will never be whole once more,
So take your pieces that are lying on the floor.
You've lost your reason, your will to fight,
The Devil has taken your soul tonight.

So take your heart that's left, its all you've got,
If you don't take the pieces they're left to rot.
But your heart shaped box,
Will never fit
The fragments...
