*this is not really a poem. it's actually a song i wrote for my band.

and so i bleed for her
new cuts cover where the old ones were
i try to hide the consequences
though i know it's senseless

i don't want to be the person in the mirror
every day the reflection gets nearer
(it can be frightening if you've never felt it)
no matter how hard she tries
she's not able to hide her lies
