Quarantine

Thought you were the one
searching my doors for a bullet for my gun
never thought i was mistaken
look what the war was built in

you have no time for sympathy
since you've never been though this
you're moving way too fast for me
here's a face you'll never miss
you're moving way too fast
slow down

it makes a hole right through
while everyone tries to fill it but you
i know i should have known something more
but maybe i know enough
by the way my heart bleeds I've lost the war
when you have nowhere else to go
then you'll know

close your eyes and count to ten
you'll never have to see my face again
i can't sleep in this old bed
i think I'll lay awake instead
i have no other choice
and all i want to hear is your voice
