We met not very long ago
I lay upon you this promise of love

But thats only if I could help it
Because you're not so near, but far
Still you're in my heart, the core bit
And out in the sky, youre a star

And you always make me smile
Its you my lil angel, get my flow
Even in innocence you've got style

When you're truthful I feel pleased
To know an angel, honest like you
Knowing you, my problems are eased
I know who I get my advice through

Youre so unique, so simply you
And thats what makes you special
No matter what fate brings us to

Who helps me when I need a friend
Stands by my side without being around
