My Tears, My Pain

Every night
Before I sleep
I think of you
And begin to weep

These tears won't dry
They won't go away
They keep on coming
They're here to stay

You've put me through
So much pain
These tears keep falling
Like pouring rain

My body refuses
To let you go
But I would never
Let it show

My heart will not mend
For a reason unknown
You won't go away
But I feel so alone

There's nothing I can do
I'm stuck on the edge
I'm trying not to fall
That I do pledge

You begin to drift
Farther away
I guess you're truly
Not here to stay

Let me tell you
If you said Good-bye
Good-bye for good
Than I would die..
