What Kind Of World?

What kind of world are we living in today?
With all of this sadness, sorrow and dismay.

It seems like every week sumething's happening
From Hurricanes to bombing to people dieing

Who brings two boys' life to a finish,
By hammering them until their lives are diminished?

What kind of father
Hits and drowns his daughter?

The same kind of mother
Who doesn't listen to her dieing daughter?

Why doesn't anyone shed a tear?
For a girl who parents are nowhere near.

What kind of person kills an innocent child?
These kinds of things aren't to be taken mild.

Who is crazy enough to do something like this?
Why cant we all just live happy with peace?

The only thing we can think about now is who will be next?
Who will be the next child to be put to rest?

    This was a very intense and touchy topic to write about, but I'm glad you did. It's about time people see what kind of world we are living in today. I found some of your verses were shaky, and the rhymes seemed a little forced, which is too bad because it really messed up the flow, but other part were great, I really liked :

    "What kind of father

    Aww. I feel bad now. Not that I'd do any of those horrible things, but the thing is...I knew it was happening in the world, all over the place...but I didn't much think of it often. I liked how you expressed your hatred for these doings. Great job. =) 5/5 xoxo
