Shattered On The Street

It's not that long since we saw fall ending.
Now we watch the last leaf swinging.
With every leaf a day has gone from the life i am living.
Thoughts run out of my mind while i am thinking.
I know it's time so a last single song i start singing.
On the edge of the roof i stand alone swaying.
Glancing down the street, seeing people assembling.
Now i feel myself slipping down in the air.
people down the street begin to stare.
Am I awake or am i living a nightmare???
I see a small girl down there watching while wind plays with her hair.
I gaze at her little eyes smiling...then i keep on falling my way.
She looks up at her mother and she says...
"Mom!! What's he doing? Is he gonna be OK???"
"I don't know baby...lets just wish him good luck and start to pray"
I just shed a teardrop and keep falling that way.
But just before my body crashes.
I close my eyes and my memory flashes.
I see myself smiling, playing, laughing...
What a nice life i was having!!!
My friends around me...Happiness in my eyes u could see.
I am taking a look with a smile on my face.
But suddenly i feel something strange...something happens to the place.
Happiness is gone and i can find no one.
Where are they??? They were just here..
They left me alone on my own i fear..
I can see them going away...There ghosts just fade to black.
And i am screaming at them...Please don't leave!! Come back!!
What happened to me?
I used to be happy...I used to smile.
That was ME
I never cared...But everything changed.
And suddenly...That life is no more mine.
I turn on the page...
I see myself trapped in a cage.
Silence around me...I can hear no noise.
i scream out for help...I can't hear but the echo of my voice.
That when I open my eyes.
I shout as high as i can... telling the byes.
I reach the floor...I shatter on the ground.
Yeah it's the end...there isn't another round.
On the road my blood runs.
A policeman leans on me checking my pulse.
Announcing that i am dead.
Now, will you remember me and all those words I've said??
