Love Tore Apart

by ShadowedPhoenix   Feb 20, 2006

Carved across the charcoal sky,
Were the letters
Of such crimson pain
And a broken Goodbye!

And with the crystal tide
Were my inner most salvations denied.
And when the moon did shine,
The darkest truth did blind!

Burned onto my blackened soul,
Was a message of crimson gold.
For sinking ships
Can sometimes stay afloat!

Pierced through the mind,
It's the scorching pain of time.
Even when the sun shines,
You can remain without light!

Unhappiness far beyond belief
Will be torture and your only relief.
Inside lies the shattered heart......
Which love gladly tore apart!!!
