A fight within

by Bradley Peter   Feb 26, 2006

The walls were torn, from which they stood
there was a battle, between bad and good
when evil merged, and won the fight
the land of hope, was covered in night

the goodness ran, and tried to hide
but the darkness covered, so far and wide
there was no escape, the battle was done
evil took the land, and destroyed the sun

Simple and eloquently put. Of course good always triumphs, but still. This poem is incredible, Brad! Proof that you don't have to have lots of words for a poem to be amazing.
