Many search for it,
Convinced of it's existence,
Believing that it can be found,
Spend entire lifetimes in it's pursuit,
Never giving up,
Searching for that one person,
One person who can make them complete.
Their soul mate,
The person with whom they will forever remain,
Eternally be joined,
Who can make them believe in life,
One person who will be forever there,
Who they can forever count on,
Who they would risk everything for,
They will love more than life itself,
For that inexplicable feeling,
Of knowing that this is the person ,
Who you want to be with forever,
The one who will beat back the clouds,
Who will eternally shine,
One person you can trust without doubt,
Who you could sit and listen to forever,
Just to hear their voice and know they are near,
Every moment together seems like eternally,
And time seems to stand still,
Never do you want to part,
Never leave each others gaze,
Be together until the end of time,
Whose mistake you can forgive,
As they forgive yours,
A single person,
Who is perfect in your eyes,
One person who makes you feel whole,
Many search for this,
It may come only to the lucky few,
But we will still search,
