Call it a journey

by alive in death   Feb 28, 2006

A field of harvest,
many fruits have grown.
many seeds have been sown,
but what shall the planter reap?
as he attends to pamper his sapling's,
he sees that his work has payed off,
hours of attending to the nurture of the benefit.
but over night,
all his work is ruined.....
his one mistake was forgotten covering.
his work being spoiled,
his plants having had died.....
he curses his effort,
and wishes he had never tried.
but what can you do when your strives turn to defeat?
will you curse your effort like the man that nature beet?
or will you bless the occasion,
and take from it the happy memories,
and learn from the mistakes.....
call it a journey.
