The Young Girl\'s Ghost

by JP Cooper   Mar 3, 2006

Their distance apart seemed long and distant,
The girl's life was taken in an instant.
The Family cried,
As the young girl died
But all alone in the corner of the room,
Sat a boy that was confused and did not assume
No questions were asked
As his sister passed
The years after felt lonely and hard
He had no one...He played alone in the yard
The empty room created un-chartered space
He walked around with tears on his face
His life began to turn for the worst
Until the day it sprung up with a burst
While being juvenile with an unmentioned host
He felt the presence of the young girl's ghost
Her presence overwhelmed him with fire and fury
And told him to stop...to stop in a hurry
The young girl's ghost saved him that day
He turned his life around on that day in May
He found himself all alone once again
But knew his life was just starting to begin
He knew inside that he missed her deeply
But the girl's ghost filled him completely.
So when life seems unfair and hard
Just remember this story and take it to heart.
The girl's ghost may seem long and distant
But when needed most she'll be there in an instant.

A short testimony in words of the life of J.P Cooper. Written to give hope to those who think their lives are ruined. Things happen for a reason. Trust in the lord and live a long and prosperous life full of excitement and happiness. Take chances, live and learn, never turn back, and never run from happiness. Why Worry?
