Fill me up

by Melissa   Mar 3, 2006

If you were a star,
I'd wish you to fall through me
and I'd embrace you
with the softness of petals.

So take my hand
and illuminate my flesh
with the glowing night light
of your heart's eternity.

Feed me the fruit
from an all filled up soul,
so I won't crave the bitterness
of an apple with worms.

Grace me with your love
and I'll shed my skin to bare bones.
For I know it just fails my soul
with a dirtiness that attracts sin.

Sprinkle your dust of glory
over this spirit of faded colors
and together we'll blend
into a masterpiece, signed God.
