When you walk away,
I want to pull you back and say,
This is how I feel,
And how I've felt day by day,

In the mornings I wait for you,
Even when I know you won't show,
It's just something I do,
Before to class I have to go,

When your hand reaches for mine,
Or as we sit side by side,
When you lean in for a kiss,
My heart melts inside,

You make each day a surprise,
I don't know what to expect,
So whenever I'm getting ready,
I make sure I'm at my best,

Your arms are always open,
Ready to catch me when I fall,
Even though we have our differences,
We still manage to climb those walls,

At the end of the day,
It's all worth while,
When I see you,
Walking towards me with a smile,

And night I tend to think,
What the future holds,
For us as one,
Or 2 if be told,

I wonder if life will give me,
A second chance to do right,
Make a mends of my mistakes,
There's no more darkness only light,

From hand to hand,
Kiss to kiss,
Day to day,
Each passing bliss,

From sunrise to sunset,
You can have my very best.
