What Is War

by PassingAngel   Mar 5, 2006

What is war
And why does it happen
Why is there conflict between who we are
Why is everyone fighting

What does it accomplish
To kill off someone different
We should not get punished
For having our own statement

Stereotypical things
Are what the media feed us
Maybe if we see, hear and speak less of it
There would be less violence

We have tried to stop racism
But there is always someone who doesn't agree
Though we have tried to overcome
Some still think they should not be free

War is not an option
It is an excuse
An excuse to try and solve a problem
A problem that only worsens

Everyone should be respected for who they are
Instead of thrown to the ground
There should not be war
If we look for peace, it will be found.

There is still hope in life
We can still live through the circumstances
No matter the pain and strife
Racism will be stopped, as will war.

For racism is the root of war
And it must be pulled out
Because without racism and conflict
There would be no hate, there would be no war.
