That you could create me
That inside every person is a soul

How awesome is it now
That you made the heavens
The big and the small,
The planets and the stars.

How phenomenal that you took the care
To install in me a person
To create me like no other,
To want to know me

How cool is it that I can sit
Outside and look around
And see the things that you created
With your own hands

How wondrous the world around
That you made long before me,
And yet you planned out my whole life
At the same time.

How terrific that you love me so much
When I defy and betray you,
When I am most surely among
The most fragile of your creations

It is phenomenal that you can care so much
About just one little person,
I am no more than a speck
In the wonders of your universe.
