Every Last Tear

by edy   Mar 9, 2006

I lay alone in my bed
Looking up to the stars
Wishing you were closer
Wishing you werent so far

Every last tear that hits the ground
Echoes in my ear
Reminding me of the years

The years we shared our love
The years we shared our cries
The years we shared our kisses
The years we shared no lies.

Love at first sight
At least in my heart
The way I said goodbye
I yearn for a new start

Every last tear that hits the ground
Echoes in my ear
Reminding me of the years

A perfect romance
Through my eyes
A perfect women in my life
A perfect outline of my future wife

3 years down the line
I still feel your tears
Yet your to proud to even say what you feel

Every last tear that hits the ground
Echoes in my ear
Reminding me of the years

So many long day's
So many short nights
As I like you would cry myself to sleep
Wishing it was all just a dream
Please somebody pinch me

I thought you were forever
Yet forever has yet to be seen
Nothing can be perfect
Yet you were more than perfect to me

Every last tear that hits the ground
Echoes in my ear
Reminding me of the years

I write this today because you know why
It's our 3 year aniversary
I'm sorry I cant be by your side

Of you Ill never forget
So precious to my heart
So many tears Ive cried
I yearn for one day a new start

Every last tear that hits the ground
Echoes in my ear
Reminding me of the years

This is writen very well. the middle is not quiet as strong as the rest and allows for your attention to drift slightly but it is quickly resored once more.
