Different People

She misses him terribly
Her father that passed away
But lives her life to the fullest
Each and everyday

So angry at her dad
Not wanting to see him
It is her last chance
Before his light goes dim

Her fathers an alcoholic
Drunk again today
He hurts her so bad
She just does not know what to say

He was having fun skiing
He fell and is not okay
Everybody cries
For the life that was taken away

She looks into the mirror
Her reflection is all she sees
Has not eaten in days
She won't gain any more calories

Smiles everyday
Happiest person around
Everybody is surprised
When her suicide note is found

A big secret she holds
No one really knows
Her scars upon her wrist
She is not ready to unfold

She fell in love with him
She gave him everything
It all turned out bad
Sadness is all it could bring

Ten years old she was
When he touched her that night
She screamed for help
But no one was in sight

Everyday she goes home
Not knowing if there is enough food
For everyone in her family
Would begging be so rude?

Her grades are so low
Always trying her best
So much pressure on her shoulders
But they are still low like the rest

He left her here all alone
All this pain he made her feel
Killing her slowly
Never will she heal
