Circles

by Clark Jacobs   Mar 15, 2006

Where you going to tell me
Or was I to find out the hard way
Maybe I was just too hurt to see
Not growth but in fact a deadly decay

I saw that look in your eye
One heavy with guilt and bore
But it was too late
I didn't matter to you anymore

It wasn't easy
Letting you go
But whats the point of staying
When theres nothing left to grow

Fly away, just keep flying
Because as long as you're here
You just make things worse
Another problem that wont disappear

Year after year
The story doesn't change
Different girl same fate
Just a simple matter of exchange

Well I'm still not getting anywhere
But I cant keep falling apart
Because all it gets me
Is right back to the start
