I so enjoyed writing this collab with Sluvious/Bob .....
This piece was written to show people that country folks are not what society makes them out to be .....
Sluvy did the first 10 lines / I did the last 10 lines .

Not Barefoot and Stupid
Just a Little Country

I'm not slopping no hogs
and my house ain't made of logs
never have I been pick'in and a grin'in
nor drinking moonshine and sinning

when I say come eat ya'll
that turkey is a butterball
for we don't eat road kill
or fetch water like Jack and Jill

while country living is fresh and clean
society makes it so obscene
yes we all love to dance and sing
a twist tie isn't my wedding ring

my house ain't built on a set of wheels
we don't wear shorts with high heels
patches don't cover holes in my jeans
my favorite meal isn't pork and beans

my toilet isn't a hole in the ground
with my cousin I don't mess around
while a little lovin is fun in the hay
I'm a country girl , I'm proud to say.....

    Like I said to sluv...you hit on most of the stereotypes in a very funny way...except the barefoot and pregnant one! Good job from you both...love it! cute!

    Great job by both of you...My families from both sides come from West Virginia. Both my grand-fathers were coal miners. So was my dad but came to Ohio for a better life. This is really cute. LMAO.....You hit on alot of the things people think of the good folks from the south.

    LMFAO! HAHAHAHAHA While I was here I decided to read a little since I've neglected to do so lately and MAAAANN am I glad I did. It's been a tough day here at work and I needed that laugh!! HAHAHAHAHA Wow...that's funny. As funny as it is there is actually a good message within and I think that’s awesome....Luanne and Sluvious breaking the chains of society and diminishing the stereo types the world holds for "hill billies" LMAO Ok maybe NOT but it was a damn good try!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!! It didn't even seem like TWO people wrote that...you two blended so well!!!

    LOL that part was funny!!!!! This was overall a very cute poem! My granny is from Kentucky and everything I just read is seriously how "hillbillys" are categorized! She doesn't mind but this was cute! I'll have to show her this!
