Passion's Delusions

by Momentary Relapse   Mar 17, 2006

Amorous gazes pierce his soul
Her curving lips laugh at him
Ardor passion alight in his eyes
His love for her touched the brim

Flawless perfection cruves her form
Supple limbs embraces his heart
Passionate caress burns his soul
Desire maddens tearing him apart

Whipped and beaten drunk on love
Daring her with unvoiced murmurs
Quivering lips wither a dying rose
Within his soul a fire tremors

The flames of passion slowly died
His slain heart opens to be seen
Terrors engulf his flying thoughts
Love no longer feels serene

Embers wrought has lost its spark
Wet ashes unable to be revived
She breaks his resistance sanity leaves
In her love he never survived

Amorous gazes tore his mind
Enraptured by the lies she spoke
Learning belately of her destruction
His will, his mind, his body broke
