Our innocents Goodbye

by Lithium   Mar 18, 2006

Each death defining leap,
To a wish that can't be fulfilled,
Towards a goal I cannot reach,
To a life worth more then mine,

A memory that I hold onto,
Or a dream that came true,
I try not to wake up,
Because I think I'm with you,

You are one of god's creations,
Made for me to love so,
To keep you happy for all costs,
Even if I must go,

Your damage done cannot be erased,
Nor do I want a pure soul,
Infected with your disease,
Now out of control,

I'm just breaking down the door,
To this twisted act of fate,
To pull you up to see,
We're more than mates,

I know you want a life with no rules,
To escape be free,
With nothing holding you back,
Even if that includes me,

I'll keep waiting for your call,
To know I haven't been forgotten,
By the one I can never forget,
Our future is not yet written,

For our innocence is no longer,
Your voice now makes me cry,
As the ghost of you wipes them away,
I slowly bid my goodbye.
