Love changes all

by StefQ   Apr 1, 2006

I envy the ones
That don't know what love is
The ones that didn't get hurt
By something stupid like this

I envy their vision of life
Just perfect the way it is
Not knowing what love can do
That's why ignorance is bliss

I envy their life
They live it so peacefully
Living every day like it's their last
Till the moment comes when they see what I see

I envy their heart
Unharmed by anything
To have that again
I'll give everything

I envy their feelings
Just happy or sad
Those are the feelings
Everyone once had

I envy them
I envy the person they are
For they remind me
Of what I once ware

I envy everything about them
The tears they haven't shed
The heart that didn't got broken
For this is the life, everyone has led

Until the moment comes
That they all fall
And lose everything they had,
And realize that love changes all

Title: At first it seemed like a love poem until I saw what section it was in. A good hooking title though
concept: Enving those who weren't hurt but shouldn't they envy us who have loved :)
I think it's great and powerful emotionally but I'd try rereading these parts:
Till the moment comes when they see what I see (It runs a bit long)
Of what I once ware (I don't understand)

So true! I can definately relate :)

    Of what I once ware

    I don't understand . . .

But lovely flow and rhyming, really enjoyed reading it.

    Peace. [Sole]
