Every Spring

by StefQ   Apr 6, 2007

Every spring,
It comes back to me,
This deep yearning,
Unspoken wisdom from the past,
With my old suitcase of memories,
By the train of faith I'm standing,
This robe of mine is really heavy. My dearest...

Every spring,
Old friendships come back to me,
I'm reminiscing,
Of drunken nights that would always last,
In my old shoes I leave,
Cause they remember the roads I've been walking,
These steps of mine are really heavy. My dearest...

Every spring,
The mistakes come back to me,
I'm forgetting,
But some promises are made to fast,
I drink to drown my regrets and free,
My head of these feelings
My eyelids are feeling really heavy. My dearest...

Every spring,
This insomnia comes back to me,
By the darkness my eyes are opening,
Its all clear know, my sight is vast,
I no longer want to flee,
Cause everyday without you I'm losing
Don't you know I really love you. My dearest...
