Some trust with a bit of pure love
simple needs of life by us all
shoulder to cry on in the hour of need
someone to hear your desperate call

we all float in same boat of life
while searching for a reason to survive
someone to hold us up when we crawl
someone to hear our desperate call

some pieces of shattered dreams
if someone could turn them to reality
one tender touch of love is all we need
a kiss to wash away our life's misery

some promises with some honest lies
a hope of love before another lover dies
we all keep looking no matter if we fall
we all need someone to hear our desperate call

some of us pray and some of us give away
deep inside we all have our share of better days
we might curse love and then die for same
just to feel at ease put all the blame on fate
