Walls

by S R P   Apr 6, 2006

You can hear the walls talking
if you listen with your heart
you will hear a tale
of a little girl torn apart.

These walls,
they have heard her screams
they have heard her cries
in her mind and in her dreams
forever haunting her...
even as she sleeps.

If you listen carefully
you will hear their words
the haunting tales of a time
when pain was where she turned.

She was brought to this hell
in her bedroom where she sat
thinking of the times she fell
and the times she had to combat...

Blood smeared across the window
as the rain poured down
but even through the anguish
she made not even a sound..

Through it all she endured the pain
even if it meant her blood pouring like the rain..

Even if it meant to give her life
she'd give anything to end the strife..

If you listen closely
you will hear the tale
the story of a little girl
who lived through hell.
