True Terror

by Purple   Apr 6, 2006

Just ignore that dream
Where you wake up in a scream
Searching for a way out
Your search soon tears you apart
Rips you limb from limb
You start hoping for the end to begin
For the door to swing open
But reality finally soaks in

You're controlling this nightmare
This your true terror
Your thoughts turned into this fantasy
Where nothing is how you want it to be

You still can't wake up though
You're almost detached, like watching a show
You try to turn it all in your favor
But you fall back to the danger
Drowning in your own sea of uncertainty
Grabbing at nothing to pull yourself free
You're stuck in your own tomb
Then you wake up from this certain doom

Trying to forget it while you turn over
Yet you keep the thoughts, the dreams molder
To enter another nightmare
And once again fight there.

~~~~~
Or maybe you should remember it....
