I Never Thought That Forever would End

We played in the sandbox till it was mid day,
Happy thoughts followed us where ever we went,
When one of us was nervous we would always say it was o.k.,
If one of us was in trouble we would follow to where they were sent,

We promised that no matter what we would stay the best of friends,
We stayed our grounds and we were just like paste,
to our friendship there were now ends,
if one didn\'t like one thing we would show it both of our distaste,

We would smile always full of glee,
never with any falsehood,
to make ourselves sure we would say \"Your always there for me,\"
the other nodded showing that was what would,

As we got older we were still the there,
we would stay hang out, and sleep over,
our words were always true and fair,
we didn\'t know what was about to happen would be a smother,

We grew even older going slightly in different ways,
I cried in my tears when I was asleep in my dreams,
Everyone just thought it was a phase,
But then again- that\'s how everything seams,

We don\'t talk to each other anymore,
Sometimes I wonder if you remember your past,
When life would spread wings and galore,
But I get the feeling you would wish that it was trashed,

I miss the friend that I once knew,
The one who didn\'t lie or act mean to someone,
Everyone not even I know what to do,
By the day you become more mean and cun,

I\'m now almost scared of you,
You and that mean horrid clique,
You\'re heart is turning like theirs- cold and blue,
If I am to do something- I better do it quick,

I\'ve tried so many times,
You\'re stubborn and I give up,
They and you are sour like those icky lemonade limes,
My tears now go clup,clup, clup,

I\'m streaming in tears of pain,
I miss that person I once knew,
My hearts now got a bloody stain,
It\'s never going away like you,

I look up at the bright shiny sun,
My reflection shows me as a fool,
I realized her work here is done,
The tears just freshly shed turned into a misery pool,

But to it has no affect on you,
I stand up bright,
You are a dumb person without a clue,
I\'ve now seen the light,

I was suppose to try to help you out,
But you didn\'t do your share,
Now here you are to make me a farce have those to have me flout,
You gave in and Satan took no worries to your dare,

I will always miss you because you were my best friend in the whole wide world,
Looking back at you laughing I gave a sigh,
I can\'t believe all that has been done- it truly makes me want to hurl,
I whispered to the sun \"My dear friend, Goodbye.\"

This is actually based on a true story about me. This happened, but not this poetic, and now I really need to let go of the pain, and move on. I\'ll always treasure these moments, but now I know I have really great friends with me, and one here has an account, and her name is Lilly. I\'m crying alot right now*cries really hard* while I wrote this, it is so hard to believe that forever ended now, so hold dear to your friendship, cherish it with your whole heart, and maybe you\'ll make me proud to see that you kept your secret.
