My Last, Imperfect Breath.

by cassie   Apr 8, 2006

Thoughts and mindless wonders,
Come rocking through my head,
How I regret the things in my past,
That Ive done or that Ive said

I'm sorry I'm not perfect,
I'm sorry you cant love me for me,
I'm sorry I'm not thin or pretty,
But I'm trying, cant you see?

All the nights Ive cried,
Staying up, and wide awake,
Red and puffy eyes,
The next day a smile I will fake

All the times Ive tried,
To lose that massive weight,
All the makeup Ive applied
To look some what pretty,
some what great!

But never is it good enough,
Always something wrong,
I dont think ill ever meet your standards,
Because here, I dont belong

You have one perfect daughter,
You dont need me in the way,
Its not like you listen to me as it is
I never get my say

You say I'm always lying,
Never believe a word out of my mouth,
I will never be good enough,
And in that you have no doubt.

So tonight ill sit up thinking,
How to plan the perfect death,
And when it comes to this time tomorrow,
Ill take my last, imperfect breath.
