Hear our Battle Cry

So many sleeping believers in the world
It's time they open up their eyes
So we can come together as the youth of this world
For all to hear our battle cries

We're in a war every single day
Besides the war over in Iraq
Young teenagers, new borns, and adults
Are under such demonic attack

Little Susie got raped last night
10 year old Michael got abused
Theresa cut herself once more
Charlie found out he was being used

Richard Lost his job last week
His wife is at home pregnant with twins
No one even realizes
The worst is yet to begin

Remeber before every meal with the family?
We'd make a circle, hold hands, and pray
A bible was in every classroom
Children would hug it when they got a good grade

The Pledge of Alligence is not said in high school
Has anyone even seen the American flag?
We used to see them hanging everywhere
Now the red, white, and blue is a drag

Everyone says there should be a change in the world
But not one person has took action yet
Is it were to lazy to move?
I believe there's some rules needing to be set

What if a new law was passed
You CAN NOT carry a gun unless your a cop
Maybe car jackings wouldn't happen anymore
Maybe most of the killings would stop

Maybe if people would stop saying "poor me"
Depression wouldn't happen and smiles would be on their face
Maybe if people weren't mad at their lives
Rapings would stop of girls 7 and 8

Perhaps if these men knew the power of God
They'd fear taking a childs life
They'd be scared to kidnap a teen
Or beat upon their beautiful wife

We're in a battle every single day
I think it's time to start a new campaign
Cry out to God for help these days
Or everything else will stay the same

It's time for our voices to be heard...let's make a change
