The Invisible girl....

by Lying To Live   Apr 15, 2006

She walks down the corridor
Looking at the ground
Trying to make sure no one notices
That she is around

They know her dirty secret
Everyone found out somehow
She used to be the class clown
But they see through her disguise now

At first it didnt matter
They way people looked at her
Then she told me she wished it could change
Back to the way things were

She turns around the corner
And looks down the row of lockers
And starts to feel upset again as she see groups of friends
The nerds the jocks the preps and the rockers

She knows that she will never
Fit in at a place like school
She was just too different from the others
They see her as too uncool

She used to be friends
With a group of girls and guys
But she never needed anyone again after
The group feel apart from resurfacing of lies

She takes her bag off her back
And gets her books out for the next class
Everyone is standing around talking in groups
For them times flies by so fast

As the teacher pens the door
Students run in to escape the heat
She waits till last and then heads in
Placing herself in an empty seat

And the teacher taught the class
While poem after poem she wrote
No one noticed her there on her own
They were too busy passing notes

For no one noticed her anyways
She was just there because it was the law
She quietly wishes too herself
That she wasnt invisible anymore

plz comment ...yeah i know it sounds cliche and all but it does truely mean alot XoX

Wow.. not cliche at all.. I bet that poem has reached a lot of people, especially those who have felt that at one time or another, and made those who haven't felt it aware of people who do.
