Poor Little Depressed Kid...

by Lying To Live   Apr 18, 2006

Complemented on her smile
This girl was the happiest known to her friends
She was always making jokes
Her happiness was to never end

Slowly disintegrating as her friends began to move away
Her smile began to fade ever so slowly
All her life people had left her
She quietly questioned what is so wrong with me?

At the age of eleven all hope had left her side
The perfect example of young and hopeless
Cutting was her secret thing
And no one would know because it wasnt too serious

A year of nothing she didnt think of it at all
Then her best friend moved away and triggered her relapse
She never thought she would cut deep
But this time she hit a vein and collapsed

Doctors in the hospital asked why she had done such a thing
She turned away and sewed her lips together
They sent her to a special doctor
And all prayed that she would get better

She did well at least she made them think that
She did as well but the razors call got the better of her
she asked at school Ms I need to go to the bathroom please
No one suspected a thing but they should have been wiser

She didnt return so they sent out her friend
She sensed it right away the minute she opened the bathroom door
Their was that little girl surrounded in her own blood
Lying nearly lifelessly on the floor

She screamed for someone to come and help
As she lay beside her and wept
She has said she was ok she would never do it again
But that was just one promise she hadnt kept

For the second time they wheeled her away
Tears running down the young girls face as they did
Her friend was sent home ever so distraught
And others left in shock to see this poor little depressed kid...

not my best work as i was only 12 when i wrote this but i thought i would post it anyway....XoX comments and votes appreciated thanx
