The Forgotten

by S R P   Apr 19, 2006

Unspoken words,
the pain of an unforgotten past.
The scars of the forgotten,
the cries of an outcast.

A bitter lonely soul,
looking for life's joys,
searching for completion,
drowning out the noise.

Something inside screams for release,
a secret of that forbidden,
the pain will slowly increase.

Screaming out the pain,
holding ones self
shivering in the rain.

Hidden in the shadows
a soft spoken word
never forgetting what was
and what is yet to be.
