Remembering You

by S R P   Apr 19, 2006

I will remember
your sweet smile
and how you'd do for anyone
to take away life's long mile.

I remember how you'd touch a heart
with a gentle smile and touch
you'd make a new start
just to be someone’s crutch.

You were always so sweet
so kind...
There was no feat
you would not accomplish.

To be as kind, as gentle
I'd give my life
your life was on loan
only for a little while
could we call you our own.

We love you and we miss you
more than anything
we remember everything you would do
to the highest point you would sing

Your sad song lives in our hearts
and even though we begin again
and make new starts
living our life without you is a trial
but we must make it through
to cherish your memory
to show we cherished you.
