In Loving Memory

by S R P   Apr 19, 2006

Your smile
embedded in my memory
I’d walk a mile
for you to stay with me.

Your laugh
once so full
silenced now
my heart, only half
an emptiness left for you.

We think life will last forever,
but we are born with heartbeats
that we are meant to treasure.

Your body is gone
but your spirit still lives on in my heart
even though I'd walk to the end of the earth
It will not change that we are apart.

In loving memory of you.
