Why She's Crying

by Lauren   Apr 20, 2006

As he walks out the door,
She stares toward the floor.
Slowly a tear falls from her eye,
And for a moment she starts to cry.
She thinks about all the moments they had shared,
And remembers when that boy used to care.
When he used to hold her tight,
And lay with her in the night.
Now her heart is REALLY breaking,
because of all his faking.
Knowing that he was lying,
Is why she is crying.

But I know how she feels,
And why she's skipping all her meals.
She's sick,
Just like she'd been kicked.
Right in the spot where it hurts the most
...The Heart...

This is simple, yet so effective. I realy feel your pain through this. Heartache/heartbreak is an awful thing, something that i havent fully felt myself.

I am glad however that you can craft it into something of beauty such as a poem.

    Well done, lovely work.
