Don't Label Me ( Cutting )

Please take the time to read this poem ....whether you are a cutter, or you think cutters are pathetic or you dont really know what you think...its shows you how many cutters feel when they hear the thigns people say ...XoX

Dont label me a cutter
Until you know the reason behind my self inflicted pain
It isnt for the attention
It like Im a cloud and my blood is the pouring rain

Dont go by what you hear about me
Unless you hear it straight from my lips
I dont cut because its trend
Attention isnt the reason my blood drips

I know what its like to see someone and judge
Ive done it many times my self
But then I came to realise that all I was doing
Was making the subject of my judgement life hell

Dont think I like the way I treat myself
But it is my only way to cope
Cutting isnt something you can just give up
It is an addiction just like dope

Do you think I like to see the scars?
To be reminded of the days when I cut my own skin
So I wear long sleeves and cover them up
Because if people like you dont see then I wont have to let anyone in

So to anyone who is reading this
Understand the story before you judge the book
Because cutters are just like everyone else
You will notice that if you just stop and look
