Your Love (Sonnet)

Your love is like a rose, ever-growing
Leaving me behind petals to follow
Your love is a stream, ever flowing,
Washing away all instance of sorrow

Your love is like sugar, never enough
Bringing back sweet memories about you
To see your face, will always be enough
Drowning in your eyes, I will think of you

My feelings for you are never fading
These words I have said to no one before
Because for you I find myself waiting
My love for you goes beyond metaphor

I find comfort in myself knowing
That your love for me is always growing
