My Story

One heart can touch your soul,
Leave a scar forever untold,
The voice within trying to escape,
Taking with it you're life's fate,

Journeys left for someone else to explore,
To right the wrongs made before,
Making an everlasting impression,
A love that is now my only confession,

Memories that we seem to create,
Every time we go on a date,
Where you become a part of me,
Setting my caged life free,

You believe I can fulfill my dreams,
With you're inspiring words that gleam,
Now that my goals are finally in sight,
I have you to thank for making this world so bright,

The outside shows the past I have to hide,
On the inside I now have love and pride,
It's time to take a step forward and plea,
For you to write a happy ending to my story.
