Never enough just to make you stay
Choking on the words that I'm longing to say
And light that shines just gets stifled by Grey
Keep your life as a lie til the truth fades away

The sting of rejection I have to conceal
He's always too close to the pain that I feel
Do the scars on my wrist mean that this love is real?
I didn't think you could break a heart cold as steel

Her head on his shoulders brings tears to my eyes
Trapped in a moment in a world I despise
A torrent of hatred and desolate cries
Life gets so cold when a part of you dies.

He's the one guy I could never forget
I'm the one girl he will always regret
Gambled my soul & then lost the bet
Forever, Beautifully Inadequete
