No More Pain

by Lauren   Apr 28, 2006

You're staring at me from across the table,
and at this point I'm barely even stable.
Hearing the words that come from your mouth,
I realize this relationship is going south.
And a tear falls from my eye,
as I hear the words "I wish you would die"
...I take that thought in mind,
an soon you will find
me in a puddle of tears
...it was you I loved all these years.
The blood will drain from my veins,
leaving me with no more pain.
And then you will realize,
that to me this was no lie.
Because what we had was real...
You were all I could feel.
But you left,
and without you I chose death.
