Every Risk

by MemoirsOfMe   Apr 29, 2006

I've never felt so lost before
Inside the depth of my mind
I can't control my actions
Or choose who I'm leaving behind

The matters are out of my hands
They linger somewhere in the air
Hidden from me without choice
And I, only recieving their menacing glare.

How must I break free of this?
Is there even a way out?
Can I flee, run, or hide
Yelp, scream, or shout?

What will get me out of here
If an escape route even exists?
But if it does, oh please,
I'd take every single risk.

Your vocab is pretty good for your age. One of the things you need to develop the more you write :)

This one flows really nicely. I think this is my favourite of yours, the way it ends is so powerful, absolutely brilliant. A captivating read.

The poems that I have read so far are unbelievable. They are fantastic. Every single one I read of yours, I just had to give it a 5! They are fantastic!

I really like how you have this part in the poem:

How must I break free of this?
Is there even a way out?
Can I flee, run, or hide
    Yelp, scream, or shout?

I just like how you questioned everything. Great job! I added you to my favorites.
