Harder it is, to not have you around,
Than it is to let you, stay in town.

Its easier to hug you, than it is to push you back,
Its easy to see you, but hard to watch you pack.

Its easy to wash your clothes, fold 'em and put 'em where they go,
Than it is to see you wearing them as together you two grow.

Its easier to hold you, than it is to send you home,
Its easier to let you in, than it is to let you walk around a roam.

Its harder to make you frown than it is to let you smile,
Its easier to just talk to you, instead of calling back in a little while.

Its easier to show my love, than it is to show my hate,
Its easier to say please come back, as opposed to you're too late.

Its much simpler to say yes to you, whenever thats what you want,
Its difficult not to let my thoughts of you linger around and haunt.

Its easy for me to say no, when thats what you want to hear,
But is so much harder when, I know that'll bring the end near.
