So you think things won't change?

The current status in the world
Is too bad to even describe
But I’d like to gather every race and sex
Occupation, age, and tribe
You’ve all read the papers in the morning
You all have watched the news at night
You see what you’re leaving the next generation behind
A tough struggle, a giant fight
You say things will never change on Earth
But I am here to tell you you’re wrong
You’re reading the words of a world changer
If you won’t I will change what’s going on
My words will bring rain to the deserts
Because I’m proclaiming freedom to the nations
But please could I have one volunteer
We need one country to be the demonstration
Standing behind all these killers
Are the youth that actually believe?
Its time for us to come out of our corners
Don’t be ashamed to perhaps displease
Some people will call us haters
Tell us we have no room to speak
But rise up you young believers
We will shake every hill and mountain peek
We fall on our knees and cry
“It looks like the devil has won”
But God says, ”arise mighty warriors
This battle has only just begun”
Some of you are even blind
To the actual battle we’re in
But look around at your peers
More than half are living in sin
So please beat me up
Throw stones and bricks at my heart
For you don’t know who lives inside me
He’ll give me the strength to start
Throw me in the dark when you disagree
I bet you’ll see me stand back on my feet
Because I am determined to make a difference
I won’t miss a melody or one small beat
Don’t be surprised people of the world
To see some young people take a stand
Bring God back to everyone’s heart again
And follow through with their determined plan
So you say thing can’t change
But do you remember all the believers you pushed down?
We will stand back up unafraid
And stop the current status spreading around
