Torture

by Corruption   May 2, 2006

The days I live are long
the nights I sleep are short
minutes may past
days will come

the pain of torture will never succumb
the good years are gone
they left too quick to say
the torture will never leave

you deserted me like the rest
but the others I forgot
you I may not forget
cause you were different

much different then the rest
I will always remember
the beauty in your eyes
that now are like the flames of hell

you left me without a word
not even a wave
I was speechless when you fell out of view
you never returned, not ever

I try to figure out why
why you did not return
but your beauty blocks all thought
that I may think

I fear that I may never find the answer
to the question that I have
you will not know what it feels
to feel the torture that you gave

now for the rest of my life
I am stuck with no answer
to the most important question
the question you asked without words
