You are such an encouragement to me
you are the sun that breaks through
the cloud that is over me

you are my cool breeze on a hot day
you are my umbrella in the rain
you are the voice behind me,
cheering me on,pushing me
to go that one last step.
so that I can reach the top of the mountain

you are the one who listens
when I break down crying
you are the one who knows its not okay
even after I say everything fine

you are there to catch my tears
as they begin to fall
you are my helper when I stumble and fall

you are always waiting for me
when i need someone to turn to

you are my shoulder to cry on
you are there for me to lean on
when I don't think I could go one more step
