Love me tommorow

by William Sirett   May 6, 2006

Love me tomorrow, for what I am today.
Be by my side, and don't go astray.
Want me for always, and need me forever.
I'll give you the same thing, if you leave me to it.

I can be your saviour, your friend, your love.
I can act on instinct and save your heart.
I will try harder to be, this man you need me to be.
And I'll stand by your side when you're crying your eyes out.

Now I ask that you, return my regard.
Notice me when I need it, and refrain when I don't.
Tell me you love me, and that you'll be there.
This thing just might save me from my internal despair.

*Hello. I keep getting alot of comments on the fluency of this poem, and that its hard to read. Youre right, I wont deny, this isnt one of my better poems, but I feel its got a nice message. I dont see a point in completely rebuilding it right now, but thanks for reading.

I believe I understood the meaning of the poem and the content was great.

Many find it easier to get the flow if the syllable count is even on the stanzas

    Suggestion
Love me tomorrow, for what I am today.
Be by my side, and don't astray

Add syllables the second line example

Love me tomorrow, for what I am today.
Be by my side, and please do not go astray

    Each line has 11 syllables

Savior is spelled with no u

The poem deserves a 5 for conten
