For the sake of whats In

by William Sirett   May 4, 2006

Saying the same rhymes, in different ways.
Pretending to be different, when youre really the same.
Always having troubles, over all your days,
and complaining about nonsense that we all must face.

With a punk look, you continually play pop.
Pretending to be whats cool, and never being whats not.
Teen angst for the ages, you constantly yell.
I want to hear the true rhymes, the rhythms that blend.

You may have started off well, but got lost somehow.
Youre message got changed, for one thats "hot".
Im tired of hearing the same old crap, day in and out.
So feed my soul with music thats truly worthwhile.

***Alright guys and gals, this here poem is specifically talking about a peticular band from Canada. You may have recognized who it is, but if you think you know leave your answer, cause I want to make sure my message is obvious.

Hummm can't say I know what band it is, sorry. An interesting choice to write an entire poem about the subject.
