Pure White

by eternitySOlong   May 7, 2006

Her beautiful wings
Blackened with guilt
Being frayed away
No satin or silk

The lies she told
Killed her inside
Scared of rejection
She chose to hide

Her innocence gone
With a new life to hold
Just a baby herself
She's scared and cold

"Why me?"
I hear her plea
Closeness now
Is what she needs

To her sisters
Forever in sight
She'll always be innocent
Always pure white

Those lines can probably ring true to many, i know they do to me. I love the way you know she needs help and are ready to give her a hug. :)
